The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta

lost my luggage at the airport on September 12, 2025, and they were supposed to be brought to the Sultan Hotel, I turned to Paka Bellman, he contacted the airport and helped bring my suitcase, thank you very much😇

Simple yet elegant

Good stay. Had great service from bellboy Mr Hernandi. Such a helpful and good natured young man. The only problem with hotel is that there is a slight moldy smell from aircon or humidity. Probably need to look at filters.

I stayed at the Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta for a tennis trip, mainly because my training was held at the courts on the property. Given Jakarta’s infamous traffic, it was much easier to just stay on-site, and it turned out to be a very practical choice. Even though I booked one of the more affordable rooms, it was massive — with a sofa set, coffee table, and even a bathtub (though I never had the energy to use it after training). The space was comfortable and came with plenty of amenities. I had a nice high-floor view over Gelora Bung Karno, and I also noticed plenty of athletes staying here, which makes sense given the location and facilities. The room itself felt great value, though the bathroom design was a bit dated. The biggest drawback is access: finding the entrance was confusing, even for taxi drivers, with long, winding internal roads that felt like a maze. It could take several minutes just to reach the main road, which was inconvenient and not walkable at all. That said, for tennis training or business around GBK, the hotel did the job very well, and I’d happily stay again if I return for the same purpose.

酒店應該有二十年以上沒有翻新過非常殘舊！傢俬很多都 破爛，衣櫃門已經跌下，廁所浴室都充滿歷史痕跡，花灑不能正常出水，還好尚算清潔
