Hyatt Place Baton Rouge/I-10

The staff was so nice and made sure we were pleased with our staff and we will be staying again when we're in Baton Rouge again and the breakfast was good and the mall was right across the street from the hotel

I couldn't find any fault in our stay everything was very nice

The staff was very friendly.

There was a used bar of soap in the shower. We asked for housekeeping to come and they said housekeeping was sent home for the day. The smell in the room was so bad we bought a glade timed spray air freshener. Very disappointed. The pictures were deceiving.

The property was okay was pretty clean.

A few cats was around the front entrance every day

The manager Nik was very pleasant and attentive

There was a dead bug on the floor when I walked in and hair in my bedding. Small issues that make a big difference

Walk in my room bed was laid in dirty towels hanging on bathroom door

It wasn’t clean , I just had back surgery beds were uncomfortable

That was not much to like, but the location is convenient.

When I arrived, I was charged $50 more than what I was quoted on this app. Before I paid I asked was the pool open, I was told it was, but there was a bike lock on the pool, the pool was unlocked for us, but the water was dirty. I only got the room so that my kid could swim so I still allowed, because I paid and did not want to disappoint my kid. Lastly, the temperature on the air conditioner was set at 61. The room was hot. It never cooled down. I assume maybe the airhead just been turned on before we got the room, but it was so hot I did not sleep. I was up sweating the whole night.
