Mercure Inverness Hotel

Die Lage ist super und das Bett sehr bequem. Das Zimmer war gross.

Keine Minibar. Strassenlärm und nebenan war auch noch grad eine laute Baustelle.

I was in room 105. The windows were permanently sealed the AC/vent was turned off. There was no oxygen in the room. There closet was so small, there were no drawers, so I had to leave half of my clothes in the suitcase. The walls are so thin, I could hear the Indian couple fight the adjacent room. Had I spoken Hindi, I could have understood their whole discussion. And to top it all off, the bed had fleas. After four nights, I'm scratching myself, with flea-bites all over my body. At over £300 per night, this hotel is probably the worst price/value I ever experienced. To be avoided at all costs. Advice to Accord: tear the place down and build a new hotel - it is beyond salvage.

Terrible receptionist, i live in hotels with work - couldnt even be bothered to complain on site as it would have been a waste of my time and energy. The walls weren’t as thick as a castle put it that way

Everything, apart from the genuinely helpful and great bar staff. The food was also nicer than anticipated - can’t fault them. I left each of the bar staff a £20 each monetary service gratuity to hopefully enable them to seek better employment elsewhere

Great location

Great location but unfortunately the rooms are very dated , carpets & walls are stained and could be doing with a renovation. Overall it’s a good hotel in a perfect location but lacking in the decor of rooms for the money

Over priced, badly needs some TLC, reception staff not interested!!! Sound proof windows we're woeful, spent our first night listening to the drunken people outside. Booking.com advertised a room with River View - only river was the constant noise from outside. Positive note - when we checked out. My husband's 80th Birthday was spoilt by this experience. We travel on a special train which was fantastic, pity your hotel did not meet the standard set by the train staff. An outlandish price for well below service and staff. Very disappointed, Booking.com you are responsible for this diabolical situation. Extremely disappointed wife of a husband who deserved more for such a special anniversary!!! Mrs. Hazel Ward

You could here music almost everywhere in the evening - our 1st room was over a bar or similar - the music was loud until 3am they must have known the room was noisy !!
