Treffen House Doha - Souq Waqif and next to Msheireb Metro Station

All the staff were efficient and charming. Whilst some of the decor in our room was a little jaded, we did enjoy our stay

We requested non-smoking rooms but upon check in the hotel said construction was being done on that floor. After looking at multiple rooms I decided I found one that was not as bad as the others. Plus I was exhausted after 20 hours of flying. The smoke stench was very sickening but the construction was the worse part. Every morning the drills and other power tools would shake the entire room until I couldn't take it anymore. If the construction within the hotel was not bad enough then you would be woken up throughout the night from the 100 acre construction site adjacent to the hotel. The hotel is very dirty and old. But I will say that the staff tried very hard to make all guests comfortable. They were just at a huge disadvantage because the actual building was full of dust and smoke.

free internet is all very well but when its as slow as that, I'd almost be willing to pay - what a shame.

I've stayed in better hotels in Doha. The location was fine, but the hotel itself was nothing special. The shower only ran hot water which made for difficult bathing.

The internet was extremely poor for a business hotel - it was worse than dial up.There is a huge building next door that runs 24/7 - such is the noise that the floor of the room was vibratingThe staff however did try as best as they could.Be warned this is in no way at present a business hotel as the basics are missing. And why open the gym at 08:00 during the week - people are working.

The Hotel was surprisingly beautiful for the price. The website pictures are not great in comparison to the Hotel. Staff were extremely friendly, warm and helpful. Would absolutely stay again.

I had a very irritating stay. In this new age of technology, I faced 1st hotel where they provide room key with a key. Doors get jammed and you are irritated to open inside the room as well. Bathroom size is small with uncomfortable bathtub for shower. So called free wifi is bad that one would prefer paid at any other hotel or cafeteria to work with. Restaurants are limited and breakfast is costly as per hotel standard.

The place is pretty TIRED - needs updating. Position to souks is great. The biggest construction zone I have ever seen is opposite the hotel & construction is 24/7.

probably the cheapest hotel where you can get booze in doha. drinks from the mini bar and room service are cheaper than all other hotels in doha! room service food is quite good too.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Due to loud construction outside our window, which goes on 24 hours a day, we asked to change rooms and they quickly had us in another room. Very happy with our stay. Short walk to the Souq.
