La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Lufkin

Fast and easy check-in.

We got to the room opened the door and there was plaster from a roof repair on the bed ...when we let the front desk know ..only thing they said was we will note it down. Had to clean it and sweep it out of the way with a towel.

The location was convenient

There were roaches in the room and dead bugs in the bath tub.

The rooms are definitely not as pictured on the website. Dark and gloomy. The floors were sticky. Missing light bulb on the lamp by the desk. Coffee maker did not work. Bare minimum for breakfast. No lids for the coffee cups to go. I asked for a place to fill up my water cup she said there was nothing available. Shower was great. We'd have stayed at several other laquinta inns . This one was definitely not like what we have stayed in the past.

Absolutely nothing

EVERYTHING. The toilets didn’t work, they had bed bugs, blood on the sheets, the staff was terrible and wouldn’t fix anything we asked them to do

Room was clean. Good water pressure. Fridge worked. Location had a way to get out of the back to go south without driving miles to a turnaround.

Key didn't work. Spent a lot of time trying to get in the room. When I took the key back to the desk there was nobody there to fix it. When someone showed up they just reprogrammed the same key instead of giving me a different one. Someone with barking dog. Room was very dark. Bathroom sink had some kind of flow restriction. Not enough pressure to clean off a razor. Check in time is 3pm, not one minute earlier. This policy is strictly enforced.
