I stay at this hotel every year when I travel to San Antonio. The service is always friendly and welcoming. The manager, I forget her name, always made we feel welcome and was happy to help with my requests. I will always stay here when I come to San Antonio

Unclean, housekeeping clearly was not cleaning rooms or actually changing sheets. Not maintained with working shower heads. Only one roll of toilet paper in the room. Half the lights in the room did not work. And the air conditioning unit only would turn on for about 3 minutes at a time.

"Avoid! "

People were friendly but property run down, not maintained and rooms not safe at all. If it wasn't so late and i hadn't prepaid, i would've canceled and went elsewhere.

I did not end up staying at this hotel. Upon arrival, there was policy present. Room I was given was in the back with no outside lighting and very scary. Room was dirty, bedding had stains on it. When I was going back to office, more police were there again blocking front entrance. Just left. Refund requested for 3 nights.

"Don’t stay here"

Overall condition was poor. Hallway in lobby was bowed out. Room trim was missing paint in several large areas. Tub looked filthy/stained. Light in bathroom didn’t work. Sheets and bedcover on one of two beds appeared clean but stained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Staff offered another room but I had seen enough. Only stayed one night out of the four because it was late when I checked in.

My stay at La Quinta was completely unacceptable. I checked in late at night with my 7-year-old and 12-year-old children, expecting to get a few hours of rest before continuing our trip. Instead, I discovered bed bugs in the bed around 2:30 a.m. I immediately recorded video proof of the infestation. I went to speak with the front desk, expecting some level of concern or support, but the manager was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. No apology, no offer of a new room, and no concern that two children had just been exposed to a health hazard. To make things worse, I contacted Expedia, where I booked the room, and the agent I spoke to provided no real assistance. I explained the situation and even offered to send the video, but I felt like I was being ignored. At that point, I had no choice but to gather my kids and search for another hotel in the middle of the night, completely exhausted, stressed, and frustrated. What I experienced was more than a minor inconvenience. It was a health and safety issue, and I’m shocked at the lack of professionalism and care from both La Quinta and Expedia. It’s clear that Expedia does not thoroughly vet the hotels listed on their site, which puts customers at risk.

Even though this room and hotel advertised that it was a non smoking room… once we opened the door and went inside the room smelled of cigarettes and the smell was well penetrated throughout the one night stay!!! Housekeeping needs to put many air fresheners so the smoke smell will go away for future guests!

"Tweeker housing-bed bugs "

It was dirty, nasty and has bed bugs, he had to stay a few hours only, because everything was booked. Tweekers everywhere. San Antonio has the worst hotels!!!
