Clean and comfortable

This is an excellent accommodation. Great staff including owner/manager, nice breakfast, good location and great value. Good communications beforehand too. Lovely touches like free juice at the bar. Free water and replenished daily. Room was cleaned and sheets replaced after first day - unexpected and a rarity.

Nothing whatsoever but, following on from the above, I would have been quite happy to not have my room cleaned and sheets replaced after one night so maybe put one of those standard hotel notices in rooms where guests state same.

We were impressed with excellent hospitality offered by the staff. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we loved a calm and peaceful atmosphere of its garden too.

I stayed for a second time in that great hotel-surprise in Bujumbura and I'd like to nominate now the excellent staff: Tierry, Venuste, Vital, Une and of course Valery, the manager, for their professionalism and kindness. Thank you all !!

It was the best hotel I booked in my 20 days trip in beautiful Burundi and Rwanda! Its functional simplicity and positive vibes, nicely minimal with a wonderful internal garden and restaurant, lovable staff with a Burundian huge heart, superb cuisine (oh that chicken!) and of course with Valery, the owner: A new Burundian-Belgian Friend of mine, sociable, helpful with knowledge for the Country and good English. I felt really at home! Thank you so much for the experience, Val, I hope to come again in your little oasis! A comment also for Burundi: I loved it, it's a safe Country everywhere, the drummers are FANTASTIC don't miss them!, places, forests, parks are unique and safe, food is ok and clean, people are hospitable, sweet and polite but please ...don't walk alone at night. Take one of all these cheap safe taxis, always ! :)
