Relaxed, clean room, and quiet for long visiting clients. Tremendous customer care from the Val the owner of the lodge. He recommends reliable partners with different companies for outside activities like hiking Mountain Heha which we so enjoyed. Their cleaner was so sweet and lovely. Attended to every detail within the spacious rooms. The communication with Val was brilliant. He is such a laid back chap. I loved hanging out with his mates every other evening when they came around to have a drink. Interesting people.

I wish local dishes were available for breakfast menu. Also shower curtains ought to be changed often since they tend to smell badly if the water is not well drained off them.

Comfortable, clean, in a quiet neighborhood, with nice staff and excellent breakfast.

Two things: - I had arranged with the manager a pick-up from the airport. The car never showed up, so I had to take a regular and more expensive taxi. The manager never showed up neither at the lodge to apologize or at least give some explanation about this. - Food is really overpriced. It's good in quality, although there are not many options, so it's definitely not worth the 30000 BIF they charged me (no drinks included). Best to eat somewhere else.

This hotel is exceptional in Bujumbura. A real oasis. Even Internet is perfect.

Great Location, Clean rooms, afrocentric decor 😍..the breakfast was nice. Very friendly staff and host 😊 The WiFi is fast (very important for remote workers). I really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend Urban Lodge 💯

Perfect 10 from staff, location, cleanliness, good breakfast. They also paid my taxi from the bus station Val is responsive in WhatsApp and help me find a tourguide to tour me in Bujumbura.. Thanks Val.
