Thanks for clarifying — that makes the sequence clearer (they pushed the smoking fee first, then threatened you with being kicked out). Here’s a sharpened version that shows that order of events: I recently stayed at Spark by Hilton, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. After a pleasant first night, I was suddenly accused of smoking in the room (which I did not do) and was told I’d have to pay a smoking fee. When I questioned the charge and asked for proof, the staff was unhelpful and gave no explanation. Only after I pushed back was I told I would have to leave, effectively being kicked out before my second night of the booking. Instead of refunding that night which I asked them to do, the hotel applied the payment to this bogus fee. To make matters worse, I later found two additional unexplained charges of $47 and $50 on my account, bringing the total of unauthorized charges to nearly a hundred dollars. What began as a good stay quickly turned into a frustrating and costly ordeal, and I cannot recommend this hotel.

I loved the room, the quality of the pillows and sheets, the bathroom, the cleanliness, and how beautiful the facilities are inside the room. The bathroom is very nice, the toilet paper is excellent, super comfortable, great temperature, the room was incredible.

I didn’t like the breakfast at all. I think they could offer a much better breakfast, with better options—like cooked eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, homemade oatmeal, etc. The breakfast really wasn’t good.

Location

Lots of transients all around the hotel. Breakfast was a continental breakfast without anything hot. Very disappointing. Room was ok, bed was ok. Took about 5 minutes of running the hot water to be able to have a decent shower.

They made me sign a quick policy which said no smoking amsongst other rules. I respected that of course waiting till going outside to partake yet the told me the it was so strong the odor on me and my items was so strong that I I was acquired by the lady dmt heir of smoking in the room after having just from a smoke break.
