Rodeway Inn New Braunfels - San Antonio Area

We had a handicap room. It was set up well with assist devices and a large room.

Walked into a non smoking room- freaked if cigarettes. Outside the door people were just hanging out smoking right outside our door. Shared the room with several different types of insects. In the bath tub, in the restroom and in the room in the walls. Carpets had stains like a crime scene.

Room had a few roaches. Walls were dirty.

Restroom ceiling was molded. Office chairs were dirty and filthy. Room had a bad smell. We will not ever stay there again

It stinks ,the air makes so much noise, it smells like smoke it is so nasty 😫

Non-smoking rooms reeked of cigarettes and marijuana, all furniture was heavily worn, stained, and smelled like bad body odor. Cockroaches everywhere. It looked like the rooms aren’t ever actually cleaned other than putting on different sheets. Lots of permanent residents hanging around outside of rooms and in parking areas, staring at anyone coming and going. Even the lobby smelled terrible and was partially closed due to a water leak in the ceiling. I don’t understand how this place hasn’t been condemned by the city and torn down.

As an ultimate last resort. Other than that DO NOT STAY. Room was totally disgusting. Roaches and grasshoppers everywhere in room. Smell when walked in was rancid. Bedding was beyond gross. Found 'whip it" shells under bed along with other drug paraphernalia. Very dark and dingy. Wasn't able to sleep because we had to watch our vehicles all night because of "people" loitering in the parking lots and looking into vehicles I know it's cheap and you get what you paid for but this was beyond. Ended up leaving way early just because unsafe feeling.
