University Inn at San Luis Obispo

The location was exceptional and the the price was one of the lowest in the area for a queen bed, which was not uncomfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offer EV charging for a reasonable fee. The photos of the room are accurate.

Just be aware it’s an older property and not the best maintained. We had to ask the staff to help us open the door every time as although the door unlocked, it would get stuck. The shower made a horrible wailing noice while running, although it did work. There were no extra blankets for my wife who is a cold sleeper. We had to ask for amenities such as toothbrushes and there is no drinking water provided (though you can use tap water if you want).

This place was decent to just come and stay for the night. Had a pool, not heated outside, but had a beautiful view of the hills. Breakfast was decent. Breakfast sandwiches bananas and pastries available as well as coffee and tea.

Room was not cleaned in the 3 days we were there.

This is a decent hotel. There is definitely deferred maintenance. But the location is great, it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

There were small things that need updating of fixing. The outlet on the bedside light didn’t work. The shower drain was slow. Small things really.

It was comfortable, clean, convenient, comfortable bed. fluffy towels, well stocked. Appreciated the microwave and hair dryer. The soaps and shampoos smelled lovely.

The room door and the bathroom door were both tricky to open. Some of the car park was narrow.

Clean and neat. Great location. Free parking. Easy check in and checkout, and friendly staff.

Breakfast was very basic and there was nothing to drink except coffee - not great for my 4&6 year old

It was conveniently located, clean, comfortable and the office manager/owner? was very friendly.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room rate was very reasonable.

We were in a first floor room and we could hear the people above us moving around. Fortunately they were not up late so we were able to sleep. Also there is no coffee maker in the room.
