Howard Johnson by Wyndham Clearwater - Dunedin

I am pleased that we had booked only 1 night in this ‘motel’, any more and I would have left, despite the charges being non-refundable. Room was very tired, headboards need replacing due to flaky ‘pleather’ and the ‘bathroom’ cupboards were decrepit, both looked very unsanitary. Level of cleaning was poor, I have no idea what was on the floor behind the bathroom door… I couldn’t bear to look too closely. Breakfast was reasonable, coffee, juice, cereal, a waffle maker and toaster. Some fruit may have been nice. We booked last minute, so the price was inflated accordingly… we paid way too much for the standard of room and facilities. As a result of this visit, we have struck Howard Johnson OFF our list. Unfortunate.

This place is disgusting, old, dingy and dirty. The sheets were dingy, we got fresh towels the 2nd day and they were stained and one towel had makeup on it. The tub was filthy, I had to lay a towel down in it to shower. We would have left immediately but it was paid for ahead of time. I am shocked that Wyndham puts is name on this Crack motel
