Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Schaumburg Woodfield

I stayed at Embassy Suites in Schaumburg from August 21 to 26. On my first night, I was placed on the 5th floor, and early in the morning I woke up with bedbug bites. Unfortunately, I had encountered this problem before, so I immediately recognized the signs. These insects usually appear at dawn and bite legs and arms. That night I had to move to the living room to sleep, and the next morning I changed my room. I felt weak and scared, but I didn’t receive much sympathy or support from the hotel staff, which was disappointing. Later, I was relocated from the 5th to the 3rd floor.

To be honest everything on the property is great. Service was unmatched, room was very clean, and the front desk did an exceptional job to make sure everything was to my wife and I liking. The only back draw is the elevators. The hotel is huge, they have 4 elevators there but only two are working, which made no sense to me, especially with it being Labor Day weekend, the entire hotel was booked and the wait for the elevators was sometimes up to 5mins. If the other two was in service I would’ve given the entire stay 5 stars. The hotel is too large for only two elevators to be in service, especially on a holiday weekend. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and my wife and I will be returning.

It was nice but the limited bar hours were pretty bad

Dirty and the showers are horrible. The water dribbles and the bathrooms are run down. Don’t waste your money.

This hotel exceeded all pf my expectations. Family friendly and the free breakfast was amazing. Everyone was polite and had excellent customer service.

The room had a large red stain at the entrance. Neither phone worked in our room.
