The location is perfect. It's one street over from Roma (the main street), walking distance to everything. Only 11 mins walk from the beach. Yet the street is quiet and residential - friendly neighbours sit outside in the evening and make you feel very welcome.

Personally the mattress was a bit hard for me but that might be personal preference. Everything else was great!

Perfect location to explore Polignano and its surroundings. The flat is not warm as it is built in stone.

For parking you will need to find one in the street nearby, but we had no issue with this.

Loved the history of property - the host Modest grew up there as a child. Good central location to shops and cafes Modest was perfect host answering any questions we had and helping us get to train station heading to Monopoli

The bed was firm otherwise great

If you are a couple, wanting to be close to the action with car parking right at your front door and have a great host - you have to stay here. Modesto was so accommodating, going above and beyond and gave us all the tips for a great holiday, he also knows a great contact for boat rental. The house has belonged to his family for generations and has been lovingly restored and upgraded. I hope to be able to stay here again! Highlights: Prime location - 5 min walk from old town, two ACs (1 in lounge kitchen area and 1 in bedroom), clean and well maintained, large surface area to do make up in bathroom, full sized hair dryer, fridge with freezer (summer essential!), many plug sockets, nespresso machine, Tips: 1. No clothes washing machine but if you’re staying for a couple of days just hand wash :) 2. Wifi worked well for us, I only checked a few emails during my stay 3. About the roads in Polignano e Mare - the streets are narrow and people aren’t the most considerate when parking… also the turns are tight, you will have to reverse to take some turns, so you have to be extra careful especially if you have a wide car, we drove a VW T-Cross. 4. The car park space outside the house is not assigned to it, its a public space, so if it is unoccupied, you can park there. Otherwise there are plenty of free car parks just a few minutes away from the house.
