The pod itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped.

The location of the property was about a five minute walk from the beach but there was absolutely no sea view. Our pod looked directly into the pod opposite so curtains closed all the time. We also booked the boujee pod whose view was the entrance to the 5 pods at the gate and the shared decking area. No bath without first closing curtains. If you go with a group you know well then this could really work. It had a lovely decked, shared space but no cover.

The pod was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was excellent, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to Achmelvich Beach and the NC500 route. The free parking and peaceful setting made it a very enjoyable stay.

There was a planned power outage during our stay, which affected our ability to fully use the facilities and prepare meals. Although this was outside the host's control, it did impact our overall experience. The host communicated well and offered partial compensation, which was appreciated.

Only one pod of the four has the ‘luxury’ feel, the other three are nice but functional. No thought or effort put into making them feel welcoming (welcome basket/nice bathroom products). No personal interaction or welcome. There is no view, they are located amongst other outbuildings/caravan park and the pods look in on each other. The outdoor fire pit area was tired and charmless.

Where do we start… Firstly we know that the power cut was not down to you but you did know about it in advance - offering no refund at that point is wrong as we would have booked elsewhere had we known but couldn’t as you didn’t offer a refund that close to the date of staying. Could have also said sorry guys, we’ve provided generators or a message to say bring sandwiches or something. We arrived to no power having bought steak pies from Lochinver to cook for an evening meal - now wasted. We couldn’t make a cup of tea, have a shower, watch tv, use WiFi, we sat in the dark after a walk on the beach. No bedding provided for sofa bed Power eventually came on In our pod at 12.06 past midnight! We were then woken by the builders next door at 7am This morning we tried to find something to brush up the sand from the beach, no cleaning equipment found anywhere - a brush and pan is hardly expensive to provide. BBQ outside was disgusting and filthy so we couldn’t use that without the risk of some sort of infection. Was expecting an apology message with an offer of a refund this morning but so far nothing - we spoke to others staying in other pods who were also unhappy. Very disappointed as by far the most expensive place we had booked in the whole time we are away. Would have been a great stay as pod lovely

The location was excellent - the beach was so near and absolutely beautiful. Everything was there and the pod was very cozy. The beach was lovely to swim.

It was quite expensive for two people but it does sleep 4 and would make it a very reasonable price.
