Hotel Gletscherblick

Fantastic hotel. Very nicely done mountain style room. Great fairytale alpine view from the room balcony. Simple but very very good breakfast with homemade jams, breads, local yogurts, scrambled eggs, cheese and great coffee etc., - shows how simple can be great sometimes. More than anything, hotel folks were wonderful, helpful and flexible. If you are checking in late, call and request them to leave the room key for you. Front desk closes at 7 or 8pm.

Great view and breakfast

This is an authentic Swiss property with glorious views and friendly service. We went in the shoulder season, so it was peaceful. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed, but the included breakfast was plentiful, and they spread everyone out with assigned tables separated from other guests. Convenient transportation on the bus, and lots of options to get around.

Would highly recommend - beautifully located, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and incredible views from the room. Only minor complaint was that one of the key outlets in the bathroom wasn’t functional.

4 rating for its location… it is very far from the train station but with a very good view!

Great place with amazing views but you should know there is a STEEP hill to walk up to get here. You CANNOT walk here from town. If you are disabled or elderly this is not the place for you. You are carrying your luggage up and down a hill. The last bus to and from town is at 6:45pm so your day is done then. Restaurant was closed also. We had to get food and get home before the 6:45 p and that sucked badly.

Very amazing view from room, beautiful sun rise and sun set. Don't follow Google walk route just vehicle route. Good breakfast. Very nice customer service.

The surrounding beauty is what drew us to this hotel. Our view was breathtaking when the rain and clouds finally went away. The rooms are in desperate need of updating. The bed was not comfortable. The black out drapes were great. It was quiet and the staff helpful. The breakfast was typical for Switzerland. We probably wouldn’t return unless it is updated.
