Outdated pool, was not working beds were not that comfortable. The breakfast was good and early.

If you want to sleep and breathe in black mold.. go be a guest! Absolutely disgusting.. from the chipping paint everywhere, to the brown stains and dead bugs on the bedding, and the black mold ALL over the AC unit! Wouldn’t recommend this place to my enemy!

Staff was very polite. Rooms are clean and Quiet. Light breakfast served in the morning.

Front desk manager was very nice upon arrival. Nothing else great. Lobby looked kind of dark. Kitchen breakfast area was dark and looked like we would not eat there. Bad auto coffee machine that is basically instant coffee. Bad tea selection. Pre packaged foods and dirty looking waffle maker. We did not eat here. Room was also dark. We turned on every light. Bed was comfortable with soft pillows, but linens were fair, ordinary, kind of rough. It was quiet and we got a good sleep. Bathroom was unbelievably small. You had to move sideways to close the door. Hallways need painting. Door jams were all scratched, walls scraped, looked more than well worn with no money going into it.

Stayed at the Comfort Inn in Harrisonburg and it was fantastic on our way to New Jersey, very clean and comfortable for $89. On our way back home we wanted to stay there again but they were sold out so we thought we would try this one "expecting it to be the same". OMG it wasn't even close and paid $121.The place was old run down and dirty. Reserved a queen size bed and recieved a double bed along with it being a handicapped room, rug was worn and dirty plus there were at least 50 dogs there. I asked where the ice machines were and was told that they were closed due to a broken water main in the area but said that the faucet water had been boiled. I am still trying to figure that one out. There also was a No refund policy so then i left at 630 am just to get out of there. I felt that the rooms and hallways were more like a jail. Do yourself a favor and pass this one bye.

It felt like being in a basement with a noisy fan running all night. The carpet in the room was wet.

Very disappointed - would not stay again. We booked the property specifically for our kids to use the pool on an overnight stay. We found out only on arrival that the pool was closed indefinitely for maintenance. Additionally, our initial room wreaked of urine/body odor, and we asked to switch to another room - that wreaked of smoke. At that point, I was so frustrated that I just didn't want to deal with another switch. The bathroom was also very small. The only saving grace was the incredibly kind front staff and decent breakfast in the AM. Please note that I am not typically a picky person and try to review as objectively as possible. I generally just want a clean room - especially when it's just a stopover. This did not even fit that bill.
