Very clean and Nice people!!

We didn’t even check in. Too scary and dark. No lights on and didn’t look open.

Everyone was friendly and they are currently under construction but or room was freezing. The cold air was coming through the wall around the air conditioner that was not in use and the heater barely put out heat. We had to wrap the air conditioner with towels. Then in the morning, there is no coffee in the room and the coffee in the lobey was cold!

The first room was not vacuumed, bed partially made, and a round blue pill found at edge of bed. Next room the people smoked in there rooms and we could smell it, plus there conversations. Toilet didnt work properly, shower didnt drain, the ceiling light above the bed was a tube light that flickered all night and couldnt be shut off. People walking in the alley could be heard. Place was under remodeling and you had to walk around the stuff and boxes in a small hallway already. No elevator when we were on the 2nd floor, the stairs were narrow and not good railing.

The room had been freshly painted but the bath board in the bathroom was coming loose. The front desk clerk stated they were remodeling. They may want to review the remodelled rooms as well, the contractors didn't do a great job.

Room smelled so musty I had to sleep with a mask on. Beds were a bit hard. Dust on headboard. Tub grimy. Toilet did not flush and ran all night long. Entrance into lobby was torn all apart... signs saying its being renovated. Stayed here because one of the reviews said the previous owner was the reason for poor reviews, but honestly, i really could not take the musty smell! I could barely breathe. I would not recommend this place.

Property is being renovated and not really reviewable

Campbell Lodge is in the process of a makeover and our room, while smallish, was clean and up to date… lovely bathroom with a walk-in shower… loved the funny sayings artwork which made you smile when it caught your eye but by no means dominated…. A simple continental breakfast, only spoiled by the milk delivery not having arrived… we were later down to breakfast and there was half and half for the coffee which was better than I’ve tasted in a lot of motels on our recent trip. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly, I would stay there again.

I was a bit hesitant due to some of the reviews posted, but it turns out this is a fantastic local motel. If you’re trying to compare it to the Hilton, don’t bother. If you’re looking for a clean and comfortable stay that is affordable, look no further. The motel is in the middle of an update so I’d only expect it to get better. We stayed only one night, but it was quiet and a great experience.

Very noisy, people outside door until 4 in the morning.
