Overall a very comfortable experience with very accommodating hosts. An added bonus would have been the availability of laundry facilities, that is the only suggestion I would make.

Luey's breakfast is a great way to start the day. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for our visit; close to our destinations in an idyllic setting.

Stayed here on route to fredricksberg. Really beautiful place with fantastic rooms and fabulous service. We stayed in the loft for a night ( family if 4) and there was plenty of room. We were made to feel at home from Lou immediately and had a great german pancake breakfast in the morning Cant speak highly enough of this stay and would recommend to anyone visiting the area

This property is a real gem, and the has the most welcoming hosts you could imagine! The breakfasts were a delight, and staying here made our trip to Austin a lot more enjoyable!

The hosts are amazing and the inn is incredible. We stayed for our 31st anniversary and loved it. German pancakes for breakfast - WOW! As you enter the long driveway you notice the manicured landscape and attention to detail immediately. Loved the bridge and the approach to the inn. It immediately immerses you into the relaxation experience. As you enter the home, the decorating will take your breath. It is very well planned. Lots of conversation areas and the kitchen/dining areas are very inviting. The suites do not leave out a single detail. The finest linens, bedding and room amenities are in place for your comfort. We stayed in The Crosby. It has a private balcony with comfy seating, but don't skip the swings on the upstairs balcony.

This place is amazing! Not only is the property impeccable and so well done, Luey is the most joyful host ever. You can honestly sit with her and spend hours talking. What a great host, she made us feel at home the moment we entered the house. The house smells amazing, everything is so clean and beautiful and her banana bread is to die for. I can't wait to return and take my daughters to this hidden retreat. Loved our Valentine's Day stay!

Our stay at The Plantation Inn was everything. If you’re looking for a welcoming, serene, romantic getaway, then look no further. The elegant, comfortable rooms, the stately house and property, the amazing gourmet breakfast and warm hospitality from Norris and Luey are everything you could ever expect and more. Can’t wait to come back and visit again!
