The fact that you had to pay separately for parking despite being a guest

Excellent customer service by the hotel Front desk staff member who checked me in/out for my quick 1 night stay in the DC area. Answered all my questions and provided great customer service. Room was spacious and had good a/c control. Nice coffee bar / breakfast options in the hotel quick service area. Parking is extra at $35/nt being in the DC area. Would stay again.

Clean nice room

Older property, overall well maintained, bathrooms could do with a makeover, large conference space, nooks and crannies to hang out in, nice outdoor space to relax in. Best of all the staff. While everyone was special nice, I’m going to call out for special mention Padma at check-in, Esther who served us breakfast and Richard who did a great job at the omelette station. Spent 2 weekend nights for an event, so we had discounted room and parking rates. All the breakfast staff were really very welcoming and extra nice. Thanks for the great experience.

Clean, beautiful with exceptional staff and the food was simply amazing. Will stay again and again. Loved it!

Room was very nice, comfortable bad, very cousy, beautiful view out of windows, nice bath tub, stuff was friendly and helpful. Was surprised that it has not had microwave in a room ( they had some in lobby, but not in room, swimming pool was closed already for a season.

The hotel was very nice, clean, good location and I would come here again. The only thing to note was we stayed with another couple who was one floor down from us. One day, we decided to take the stairs down to their room instead of the elevator. When we walked down to their floor, the door was locked. Walked back up to our floor and that door was also now locked, trapping us in between floors. A maid eventually heard our knocking and opened the door. If the doors automatically lock behind you and cannot be opened from the inside then they either need to have a sign indicating this on the door, or simply not allow the doors to be accessed from the hallway. What is the point if you cannot walk between floors? Seems like a definite fire hazard and against fire code safety regulations.
