Hilton Alexandria Mark Center

This hotel has an absolutely fantastic General Manager based on the way that the hotel staff treat the customers. At check-in I requested a specific room and was granted the room with no problems. Padma is definitely a Front Desk Ambassador!The Market Place is a wonderful addition to the lobby allowing Cafe Style takeout and great Coffee Service. In addition, the gentleman who works mornings is a true Barrista. and provided superb customer service. It snowed while I was visiting and I was allowed to move my handicapped space to the covered garage for my safety. I'm from Florida and can't drive in snow. Its the little things that count@ Lastly, the housekeepers were also excellent. The rooms are not the most chic or aesthetic in Washington but the customer service, meal and beverage service and Hilton Honors recognition completely outweigh any negatives. Thanks to the General Manager and the outstanding staff. This will be my new home whenever I visit Alex. Kind regards.

We have stayed at Hilton Alexandria Mark Center (HAMC) hotel hundreds of nights over the last several years. Words cannot completely describe the greatness of this hotel. Every part of our experience has always been fantastic--making the reservations, check-in, the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel itself, the meals, the friendliness of the staff, the organization and efficiency. It truly sets a high standard for other hotels. Our experience is consistently the same every time we stay at the HAMC. Thank you HAMC for being such a great place to stay.

It was ok for one night. The room wouldn't get warm, the bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. I was told the restaurant stayed open until 11pm but by 9pm on Sunday the kitchen was closed. When I checked out, I was told to press for assistance to be let out since the charge was placed on my room, and waited 4 minutes for someone to respond. Mohammad at The Marketplace was the highlight of the stay!

The hotel is nice. Sort of interesting, because it’s 30 some floors high, in a triangle with only 9-10 rooms on a floor. The bathroom is dark - there’s only a lighted mirror, but no overhead light, so the shower is kind of like taking a shower (or bath) in a cave lit from the entrance. Not a lot of food offerings at dinner time. The sushi was good, but basically, it’s food at the lobby bar. Breakfast is the usual buffet. Staff was very nice and helpful (esp when the whole parking thing didn’t work as expected).
