Paradise Harbour Club & Marina

Paradise Harbour Club & Marina a Festiva Resort was great! The clerks in the hotel lobby are very helpful and offer fantastic customer service. I was really pleased to find out the hotel offered free bike rentals to help you get around the island. While staying at PHC, I lost my debit card and had only my credit card; come the last day of the vacation and the only taxi service that took credit cards was no were to be seen. So the hotel helped get cash by charging my credit-card $50 and giving me the cash. Thanks to their willingness to help me out of a difficult situation, I made it on time to the airport and didn't miss my flight.

On a positive side the location was quiet and the water view was very nice. On the negative side…..We arrived to check in with a notice to all guests that some rooms had no cable TV. We were unfortunately one of them and a week later this still had not been fixed… On our last day of stay we arrived back to our room mid day to find that the cable company had arrived to fix the problem and our room had been turned upside down . The TV was off the wall , all the furniture had been moved and drywall dust was everywhere from drilling… We sat outside on a hot balcony waiting for some time for this to be completed. Another situation of concern for us was one night around 10:30PM we could hear someone rattling the lock of our room door trying to get in. My husband called out and the person walked away. When we looked out the peep hole we could see a man with a jacked that said" security" on it. He did not knock or identify himself which was a big concern. We reported it to the front desk and was told that the manager would pull the video surveillance and get back to us. We went to the front desk 3 times to inquire and was told the same thing…We checked out without ever finding out who it was . It appeared that making their guest feel safe and secure was not a priority .

The rooms are very clean. My only and major problem with facility is that the TV doesn't work.

Only spent 1 night at this hotel. The room was spacious but not cool enough and bathroom was not real clean.

My family of five stayed in a two bedroom suite. This trip was for a family wedding. PHC fit our needs perfectly. I don't want to be in the middle of the busy tourist areas. This hotel is close enough to walk to cabbage beach (one of the best beaches) and yet they're is very little traffic. It's a safe place to go for a run or a walk with the family. We had a rental car due to all of the wedding events, but it's not mandatory. It did make the grocery store more convenient, but the hotel did offer a shuttle on Mondays. I would definitely stay here again.

We used the hotel as a stop-over to another destination. Convenient. Worked well for our needs.

Knowing that this was a lower-priced hotel, I wasn't expecting the Ritz. However, I do expect to get what they advertise. First, the good. The rooms are very spacious, open and attractive. The beds are very comfortable, and the pool is beautiful. The air conditioning worked very well. However, there are negatives. The advertised "Free WiFi" was the slowest that I have ever experienced. I could not load email, and webpages were not happening. There is also no restaurant, convenience shop, or even vending machines on site. Anything else is a $10 taxi ride away. Also, getting a taxi to or from the airport costs about $35-40. They offer a free shuttle, but it makes one run per day.

The room was spacious and comfortable. It was not particularly clean. We were woken in the wee hours by loud music and presumably spring breakers. Very disappointing as we thought we were staying at a family hotel.
