The Newbury Boston

Our stay at The Newbury Boston was wonderful. Every staff member we met was friendly, helpful, and truly welcoming. The hotel is gorgeous, blending modern comfort with a lovely historic flair. The location is ideal just steps from the parks and within easy walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.

The Newbury Boston exceeded anything I could have imagined. I returned to Boston for a meaningful milestone—my TED Talk—and chose The Newbury because it has held such a special place throughout my college years. This time, I brought my mom with me. The team went above and beyond in a way that felt incredibly thoughtful and personal. We were welcomed into a beautiful Fireplace Classic Suite, where every detail had been carefully considered. From the wine, chocolates, and coffee to the handwritten note and even framed photos from past visits, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed into a space that truly understood the moment. We also had a fantastic brunch at Contessa, which was seamlessly arranged by the team ahead of time. What stood out most was not just the level of service, but the intention behind everything. It all felt warm, genuine, and deeply considered. It created an environment where I was able to feel calm, present, and grounded heading into one of the most important moments of my life. I want to especially thank Marissa for her care and attention to detail throughout the entire stay. Her thoughtfulness made this experience unforgettable for both my mom and me. I’m incredibly grateful and already looking forward to returning.

We came because I was craving the Cobb salad. We were seated with Conch and she made our day. Her candor and enthusiasm for the menu made the wait for a table more than worthwhile.
