InterContinental Lisbon by IHG

Quase tudo … frequento este hotel há mais de 15 anos desde que era o TIARA que por sinal era muito melhor ppte o Restaurante.

O Restaurante se “modernizou” muito e ficou do tipo “internacional” e perdeu desta forma a sua vocação natural de antes que era a “cozinha portuguesa” !!

Great first stay at the Intercontinental Lisbon. Arrived after checkin time and my room was ready. I was shown to my room and immediately had a comfy and quiet full night’s sleep. Room was very clean and well maintained, with convenient power ports, and a wonderful bed. For the rest of my stay, I took breakfast in the lounge, and enjoyed the evening happy hour. The lounge staff was wonderful, especially Jessica who remembered everything about her guests. The evening lounge offering was beyond what was expected, similar so to something you’d see at a Ritz Carlton Club in the U.S. The hotel is conveniently located across from a park, and near groceries, shopping, dining and metro. While in town for a specific purpose, I did had time to walk the area and enjoy the park and window shopping. Lovely stay. Can’t wait to return. P.S. On my last visit, stayed at the Ivens, which was nice, but honestly I prefer the Intercontinental (plus the price point is better).

Lokalizacja znakomita, spacerem do centrum. Personel bardzo przyjazny, życzliwy, profesjonalny. Czuliśmy się jak w domu mimo,że to duży hotel.

Goed hotel, vriendelijke personeel en moderne kamers (ondanks dat het gebouw er wat oud uitziet aan de buitenkant). prima locatie met veel restaurantjes in de omgeving

Received a lovely warm welcome from the Club Intercontinental lounge staff. This is a hotel that certainly appreciates its guests. I received an email a week or so before the stay, noting my Lounge Pass and offering me to check in at the Lounge. After being introduced to the staff a warm Pastel de Nata was presented, with an offer of a drink. In no time at all I was given keys to an upgraded Riverview room. In the room was a beautiful cake and bottle of Tawny Port with some water as a welcome. The hotel is small and cosy, but has a lovely bar and restaurant. I took breakfast the first morning in the restaurant and there was a lot of choice, it was calm which was surprising as the hotel was fully booked. The restaurant is really stylish and the staff very lovely. Decided on the lounge the next morning and you could get something cooked to order. Plenty of choice but not as much as the restaurant. Had two lovely cocktails as welcome drinks for our welcome amenity and really enjoyed our stay. It’s not the most perfectly located hotel but Bolt and Uber are plentiful and very cheap. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, really loved the lounge offering and the wonderful staff!
