Oak Grove Inn

When I got there I asked the guy if he would take 45 he said yes for one person I said OK then he put me in a room right in front of the office so then I had a friend come to the room told him he was not staying just visiting them he told me no get out!!! Get out now I said no visitors he said 10 extra dollars I asked could he just visit he said no and told me to get out NOW !! They are rude and make up there own prices DO NOT stay there they suck

This place is deplorable!! And I don't use that term lightly. You see, I thought I had seen a thing or two....WRONG!! I've stayed at hotels off of US1 in West Palm Beach and Riviera Beach, Florida. Trust me, I've been in rooms that are in really bad condition but this takes the cake. Carpet that was so disgusting, I can't describe to you the heebie-jeebies!! There was a hole in the bedspread I could put my fist through. With so many open rooms, I can't believe this was the best they had. I had to replace a pillow once because it was too thick. Here, I stacked up four, from both beds to make a halfway decent pillow. Something was in the toilet when I checked in. There was absolutely nothing good about this room, other than it had four walls and a bed to fall into. This place is proof, that looks can be deceiving because it is very charming by it's outward appearance. Given the choice, (hindsight being 50/50 and all), I would have slept in my car. Especially for 65 bucks.

This place is nasty. The common areas were in need of a good cleaning, floors needed vacuuming, furniture dusted and such. I got to my room after climbing what seemed to be an unreal amount of stair. The room was filthy. The carpet needed vacuuming and a shampooing, although I think if it were to be cleaned it would fall apart. There were holes in the walls and paint peeling off. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks and only had 2 very thin towels. All of the linens, sheets and towels, were slightly yellowish brown. I almost left but I really needed a shower. I brought in my own sheet and blanket and slept on top of the bedding. I got almost no sleep because of people slamming doors, loud people, and loud music. I believe most of the rooms are occupied by long term guests. The room next to mine had to have at least 6 people in it and they were loud and had the TV up loud all night. Never again will I stay here. It used to be a Days Inn but I'm sure they lost their franchise because of the condition of the property.

We stayed at the Days Inn Oak Grove to get off the icy interstate after passing 30 miles of wrecks. We were grateful to make it safely off the road and find a hotel room. That's where the good part stops. First we were not shown where the stairs were, and dragged our luggage up the wrong set of stairs, had to go back to the lobby, through a door and up 3 flights of different stairs. Then we discovered we had not been given a key. The floor had not been vacuumed. There was no hot water in the bath, only lukewarm. The bath tub drain leaked. There were two thin towels for two adults. No coffee pot in the room (although there was a microwave and fridge). Bathtub was dirty including hair in the drain and mildew around the seams. 2 of the 5 light bulbs did not work. The mattress sagged in the middle. But as they say, any port in a storm . . .

An OK place to lay your head, but nothing good to say. Desk often un-staffed. Check-in - archaic. Breakfast HORRIBLE. Don't believe the sign about rooms from 39.95 Days Inns are so unpredictable, some nice, too, other like this.....

This was by far my WORST hotel experience!!! The room was NASTY, the carpet was matted and filthy, the bathroom was severely outdated and the caulking was molded.... The list goes on and on. When I went to the front desk to check-out, the person on staff didn't even get out of his seat in the back of the office to greet me... he pointed to the basked to put the key and said Thank You.... I could NOT stay here another night... I went across the highway to the Econo Lodge and was happy there.

A little soar from the bed. NO IN ROOM COFFEE!!!! Went to lobby... Coffee pumper pot empty... no one on duty...as sign said call x104... 4:15 now- told coffee @ 6:00. Unacceptable. Furniture old and needs a lot of scratch remover at the least.

I was not impressed at all with this hotel. Breakfast was not served and the morning staff was rude.

Huge flat screens with hundreds of channels in digital Large, clean, quiet rooms with frig/microwave. I slept great! Lobby has comfy leather couches on new carpet and staff is very friendly. When everyone else has raised their prices; this hotel still charges only $39.00 per nite for most rooms. Days Inn amenities at budget prices. They were flexible on check-in and check-out times to accomodate my busy schedule. free wifi.
