EXCEPTIONEL EXPERIENCE. Just spent the weekend in “Wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen….. - and what a wonderful boutique hotel Sanders is. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly, and all the members of the staff really make you feel so much at home. The smiling staff is correct, polite, attentive, professional and international. It is evident they are well coached and all carry the Sanders DNA under the skin. Service was fast and we never felt we were waiting. Whatever was prepared in the kitchen was of very high standard. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch at Sanders both days, and every bite - as well as wine served - was of exquisite standard. Breakfast is partly a buffet, but you can also select from a quite large á la carte menu, we really enjoyed the spirit of the roof top as a quiet beginning of the day. Friday afternoon 5-o’clock wine was served “on the house” in the court yard and the living room area. Very high cleaning standard, and all the interiors of good quality. Room staff made you feel at home and welcome with small details like pulling the curtains, putting fresh water and glass on the bed side table while we were out. Small details that count! Only improvement we can possibly think of could be a second arm chair in the room. It was our first, but definately not our last stay at Sanders. It is a highly recommendable, high class hotel on a very attactive address in a quite street, just befind the Royal Theatre in the very centre of Copenhagen. Lone Friis

Conveniently located next to a metro stop. The breakfast was delicious and staff took very good care of us.

Cold showers, poorly designed bathrooms and noisy rooms. Don’t stay on the first floor as you can hear the bar. A lot of street noise also which disturbed our sleep.

Hotel Sanders is in a very good location and within easy walking distance to many of Copenhagen’s main attractions, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel itself looks lovely and has a warm, rustic feel that’s very inviting. The food was excellent, especially the breakfasts, which were a real highlight of our stay. That said, the rooms were extremely dark. Even with all the lights and lamps on, the room still felt very dim and it was genuinely difficult to see properly, especially when trying to use the mirror or get ready. The lift is also incredibly small, and there was no assistance available to help get large pieces of luggage to the upper floors, which was a bit challenging. Overall, a nice hotel with great food and location, but the room lighting and luggage access could definitely be improved.
