Extended Stay America Suites - Chicago - Gurnee

The customer service is terrible if you want to be charged hidden fees without your consent go to the extended stay they where supposed to send me a consent form before a purchase was authorized and I checked my account and a charge of 370.00 was made to my card that I did not authorize.

It was clean and quiet

I was supposed to have had a queen bed it was a very small & uncomfortable

Good stay, the dishes specifically the pots, are cleaned but need to be replaced a lot of char and burn marks in the pans. Some smaller cosmetic issues but other than that everything was great. Staff was extremely helpful and there is always someone available to help you. The laundry area was easy to use and worked well. Overall I give this place a 3.8/5

Bed Bugs! We are currently living in an Extended Stay America in Gurnee, IL. We have been here for 3 months. Within 2 weeks of moving-in, my boyfriend started experiencing bites/hives. (pictures taken). Evidence of bed bugs was reported to the front desk but nothing happened at that time. Fast forward to date, we have video/photo proof of an infestation in our room. Upon deep-cleaning our room we found a colony of bed bugs on the box spring. Management has been alerted and shown video/visited the room. We have been offered another room, across the hall, as well as quarters for laundering our items has been offered. Moving is not an easy task as we are 59 years old, a disabled veteran and a retired state worker. We actually paid movers the last time we had to move, so moving is not an easy task for us. What would you do? We really need answers.
