Friendly efficient staff. Great facilities and nothing too much trouble for staff when asked. Really enjoyed it. Close to Streetcar stops on Canal street ( use RTA App to secure $3 for 24 usage including famous green StCharles car) or $8 for 3 days cover. Brilliant value. Local supermarkets nearby (Rouses), Church close by, Synagogues not too far away. Riverwalk outlets about 15minute walk away from Hyatt and the high value Mall also nearby. Wonderful on site bar Holmes’s we enjoyed on Xmas Eve. Great buzz in Bourbon Street and Hard Rock downstairs too. Highly recommend. Uber to airport costs around $30 and takes 30 mins depending on traffic. We will return, thank you x

Our fridge in room 492 kept rocking when we opened door- one leg needs fixing. Air con was noisy when fired up but kept room temp comfortable. One thing that really surprised us was, on Christmas Day, there was nothing in place to thank customers for their stay, like a buffet or coffee cake welcome. It would make a huge difference on such a day.

Could have been nicer for the price

The location was great for exploring New Orleans.

Unfortunately, the Hotel didn’t have the room available that I had booked and pre-paid for 2.5 months in advance. I had purposefully chosen a king room with a view to the courtyard or pool as we didn’t want to be overlooking the busy Bourbon Street. On arrival, we were informed that we had received a free upgrade and that we could have a King room with a balcony on the Bourbon Street however it would be a very loud room - exactly what we didn’t want. When I said that we didn’t want the upgrade, we were given a room that was obviously the only room left available - no window to the outside, the only window was to a corridor in the hotel - so remained heavily curtained, there was no daylight, and a very distinct musty smell and the hairdryer dryer in the room was also broken. This was certainly not the category of room that I had booked or acceptable. We were able to change our room the next day, but only after complaining. Whilst I appreciate that the hotel was fully booked, I don’t appreciate travelling all the way from Germany, to be then given such a room, especially having pre-booked in advance. One does then query why there is a reservation system. Sadly, this was not a 4 star experience and not what I expect of the Hyatt. We will be not be booking a Hyatt again.
