Holiday Inn Birmingham M6, Jct7 by IHG

1. Couldn't get through to reception by phone, prior to attending the hotel or from our room phone whilst staying. They just don't answer the phone? 2. TV had no signal and had to go to reception twice to ask for maintenance to attend. 3. At breakfast empty tables but with dirty plates left. There was not one table set up to sit at asked a member of staff twice to clean a table and then had to remind them to bring cutlery. 4. Breakfast was not replenished and having asked for pancakes and Nutella for the kids twice - gave up. This really needs improving. The staff on reception either need assistance and the breakfast attendants more training? In customer service and doing their job?

Poor furniture and upkeep Air condition not working

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is not very attractive and much more could have been made of the out door spaces which were not well maintained at all. I did contact the hotel to amend my booking which they could not do over the phone which was a little frustrating.

Location was brilliant

Really lovely staff and the pool did the job ! Perhaps needs a little updating but for the money it was fab
