Holiday Inn Birmingham M6, Jct7 by IHG

Good location, friendly staff, very good pool and sauna/steam

Rooms are abit tight

Front of house staff on reception were good and effficient . The man doing the reception booking in was really helpful.The room was well ventilated and comfortable- in the middle of the heatwave too.There was the quietest air-conditioning I have ever (not) heard which I did use in the evening. Didn't have meals in the hotel but did have a drink one evening. There was plenty of people watching to do. The bed in the room (single) was a good size. Toiletries were very acceptable. Cleaners were extremely pleasant.

Wearing varifocals in an unknown shower does not lend itself to knowing how to work the shower! It worked out eventually. Just a little label giving guidance (where other notices are-on the mirror) would have made life just that bit easier.

Although the jacuzzi wasn't working. We did like using the steam room and sauna

There was so much noise coming from the adjoining room on the 1st night, that we only got a couple hours sleep. I got out of bed and went to reception but it wasn't resolved The leisure facilities wasn't very clean

The food was very nice and most staff very friendly

There were TISSUES. I could open a window. Very clean. Staff excellent
