The ad says it has a 24/7 reception and no prepayment is needed. I still had to put my credit card details to guarantee the booking and it could be charged at any moment, many hotels will put an amount on hold, totally normal. I asked if it was okay to checkin at 4am and they confirmed it. Late at night they start demanding that I prepay the entire stay with a link that was getting blocked here on booking so they sent it on my email, I was travelling, had to be stopping to read emails and said multiple times they could just charge my card as they had the details, much easier. They kept insisting on the link which sounded shady then actually cancelled my stay at 3:30 in the morning and told booking I was a "no show" while still trying to get money from me on my email and saying my room would still be available if I came, how exactly if they cancelled the reservation??? Most hotels in the city were fully booked so they literally left a woman by herself alone at night with nowhere to go. This was absolutely terrible and this behaviour shouldn't be tolerated on booking, this hotel should be banned for doing this immediately. The worse is I contacted booking for support and never got a reply. Horrible. Will never book anything from this "Thon" chain ever again.
