Can’t beat the location. Walking distance to most attractions. Rooms have extra sound proofing on the windows so noise from the marketplace and traffic are minimal. Strong A/C. Decent coffee in the rooms ans lobby.

This hotel’s history and location where everything we had hoped for. We felt safe here. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Directly across from the daily market that sets up for shopping. Close to restaurants and walking to the pier or Rainbow row. The hotel does brag on its popular coconut cake. It’s worth the splurge to try it.

This is a beautiful historic hotel with lots of old world charm in a great location. We could easily walk to the waterfront, shopping and restaurants. You do not need a car to get around. The rooms were spacious. I think the hotel overall could use an interior paint, carpet and furnishings refresh to keep up with the competition but overall we had a lovely stay.
