Planters Inn - Charleston

Location was great and the rooms so wonderful decorated. The service was impacable and the restaurant next door to the hotel wa wonderful.

No Free parking, no free breakfast.

Charming small hotel. Great location. We loved our stay at the Planters Inn. We will stay there again! Right by the Market and next to King Street. We were able to walk almost every where.

Hotel was not full when we checked in for 3 nights. They put us in a king room right on the main road rather than a quieter room elsewhere. It wasnt until the next morning when trash trucks came every morning to restaurants nearby. We never asked for our room to be serviced at the front desk. Someone came around 5 and asked if we needed towels. We said yes. They showed back up at 7 when we were getting dressed to go out. And yes i said something to mgmt. They just said sorry.

We went during the Christmas season. The hotel was right in the market area and close to everything you might need. We chose it because it was close to the venue for one of the Candlelight concerts. Which was also fantastic. We would definitely go back. The staff was great and we also ate at the Peninsula Grill which was fabulous.

If you love being treated like royalty, this is the place to do that. This place is super-nice and classy inside. The way they do business is pure “boutique’ style. The price is very reasonable considering the quality of the experience. The valet, bellman, front desk and the folks at the restaurant all are top rated customer-centered and professional.
