Kings Inn San Diego

We had a wonderful stay at Kings Inn! The front desk staff was incredibly accommodating and made my daughter’s birthday extra special by upgrading us to a better room. The front desk lady whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch went above and beyond throughout our stay. She always took the time to ask my daughter how she was doing and made us feel genuinely welcome. Customer service like that is hard to find, and it truly made our experience memorable. Thank you for helping make my daughter’s birthday so special. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Kings Inn to anyone looking for a friendly and welcoming place to stay!

everything about this hotel was amazing. the room service was amazing. the pool was soooo great, the restaurants were also amazing. i wouldnt stay anywhere else on the street. and they were very accommodating to give my boyfriend and i a room on the first floor because he is on crutches.

Great place to stay. Great location to catch public transport, clean rooms, great staff, and one of the more reasonably priced places in central San Diego. Nice pool and hot tub. Last day went to the on site waffle spot and that was great as well with great staff and a simply awesome waitress

It is a comfortable motel, they're are some drawbacks, but this is reflected in the price you pay - hence the 5 star review. All staff really helpful, especially Ryan on the front desk. The rooms are clean and the facilities will maintained.

Overall a great experience 4/5. Rooms were minty clean & modernized with a retro touch. There was a in-room mini fridge that we used. The location has a pool and hot tub that we used. Theres a restaurant , cantina and breakfast joint on site ( we didn't take advantage during our stay ). The location is 3 mins from old town SD and 1 min from the freeway. The cleaning staff was amazing and attentive to our asks A+ service. Now to the reason why I didn't leave 5 stars, the pool was cold & not temperature controlled , hot tub was fine. During our stay we had an incident where a silverfish and another night a cricket was in our room. The front door had enough of a crack to let the bugs in. May have been a one off to my room only which was on the 1st level. The restroom was pretty small with a weird layout having the sink right at the doors entrance. I would give this place a second chance and pick another room next time Im in San Diego

Staff was very friendly and took time to answer any questions. Checking and out was easy. Location was excellent.

Good location, close to the freeway and Old Town as well as downtown. All staff that we encountered were extremely friendly and welcoming, even given our very late arrival. The room was a little old fashioned in places but it was clean and spacious. It was good value in comparison to other hotels in the area. Wi-fi was adequate and there were always plenty of parking spaces to be had. I would stay here again if I ever came back to San Diego.

The manager was incredibly helpful with resolving a mistake I’d made. The hotel is in a convenient location, and is clean and comfortable. There’s a pool and restaurant on site.
