Holiday Inn Swindon by IHG

The half board is worth the money with s great breakfast and a 3 course dinner. But the dinner options are limited still good. The staff were nice. The rooms were clean and tidy.

it took quite awhile between each course to arrive in the dinner so the dinner in all took around 2 hours 15 minutes. It would be better if they had more toiletries included (toothpaste , toothbrushes)

Lovely and clean. Good room service and food was lovely.

The air con was not working. I was not made aware on checking in to properly but picked up on other guests complaining but unsure about until i got to room. I rang down to reception and explained i was staying on placement and had a 12 hour shift the next day and the room was extremely hot. I requested a fan and someone said they would get back to me but heard nothing back which was disappointing.

Customer service, all staff were fantastic, friendly and accommodating. The lady in gym / pool please give a special thanks to for her hospitality.

Comfortable bed

Reception staff were inexperienced. The receptionist was initially unable to locate the second room we had booked. After a stressful half-hour discussion with no immediate solution, I eventually found our booking name on the reservation list myself, despite the receptionist previously being unable to locate it. As compensation, we were given only two drink vouchers, even though there were four of us.

The rooms were clean and big enough

The air conditioner was not working, especially on a day when it was 31 degrees outside. And the hotel didn’t even accommodate us into a different room

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Room was clean. Air-conditioning worked well.

The shower leaked water out of the wall. Not from the shower head!!! From the joint!! And when the room next door had a shower/wash there water came up the plug hole into our bath..!!! Disgusting!! So we didn't use the shower/bath.

The breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options including a Full English breakfast, cereal, croissants, jams, and more. The juice was a little watery on one day, but much better the following morning. The Premier Room was comfortable and well-equipped, with tea and coffee facilities, a fridgev(some drinks inside the fridge but guessing u may have to pay, so we didnt touch them) and very effective air conditioning. The bathroom had everything needed. Although the bathroom was bit small, it was functional. Free wifi. Most of the times it was good and worked perfectly. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay. The hotel also has a small gym and a pool with a jacuzzi, which was a nice addition. The only small improvement I would suggest is that the pool and changing area could be cleaned a little more thoroughly. I visited early in the morning, just after opening and noticed hair around the pool and changing room area :( Overall, the location was very good and convenient.

Some areas were very clean, other areas need bit of improvement like the changing areas and around the pool.

Nice dinning facilities, and the pool was lovely.
