L'emplacement idéal pour visiter le Umi Jigoku. Le petit déjeuner copieux et très Japonais (c'est un ryokan). Le onsen.

Les horaires un peu rigides de l'hôtel. A partir de 8h30 le personnel commence à ranger et débarrasser le buffet du petit déjeuner. De même la limitation horaire du onsen, pas après 21h00.

La gentillesse du personnel. Après le checkin, la réception nous a proposé le plan des attractions de Beppu, donc 5 sont tout près de l'hôtel. Quand nous sommes revenus après avoir visité, nos bagages avaient été montés dans la chambre et la climatisation enclenchée pour nous rafraîchir. La vue sur mer depuis la chambre est magnifique Le soir, nous avons aussi pris un onsens privé (1500yens en plus, reservation obligatoire) dans l'hôtel et l'avons beaucoup apprécié (propre, en famille, moins gênant que les onsens publics). Après le checkout, quand j'ai demandé s'ils pouvaient m'appeler un taxi pour la gare, ils m'ont proposé le shuttle de l'hôtel qui partait 10 minutes plus tard alors que nous étions les seuls passagers.

- Personnel is extremely attentive and nice to talk to - Food is very fresh and delicious - the room is great with a lot of complementary things offered (bags for wet clothes, socks, face treatment, ice cream in onsen, etc) - very cozy and hot onsen which is open until midnight - location is very convenient - I visited 5 hells of Beppu and museum by foot - spacious parking

- it’s a bit pricey for solo traveller

Overall is good but to be honest we stay here is because of their advertisement on the beef they offered for dinner. The steak was not as good as the picture....lol....remember to ask the cut that you want when you order the steak. Staffs are friendly and they hot bath also good. Room is clean and overall stay is good.

Nothing that we don't like.....but the steak was really disappointing.
