Als umsorgte Gäste, in einem HAus aus dem Jahr 1800, haben wir unsere reise im Süden hier begonnen. In der "Noch- nicht- einmal- Vorsaison" haben wir den Luxus genossen, für uns zu sein.

"Don't stay here"

2.0

Rooms are dusty and overall dirty. To turn on toilet lights you basically need to solve a puzzle of light switches. Rooms have no Wi-Fi reception, so you need to go to the main lobby to connect to the internet. Rooms have no blaconies so if you're a smoker be prepared to smoke in the room (there are no smoke alarms so if anything goes on fire atleast you can hope for a quick death). Hallways are long and dark, doors don't close properly if they close at all. There was no TV in our room. We had no warm water in the shower which felt like it was going to break down any moment. Food is terrible as well and was mostly cold and dry. Beds are awful and it's almost impossible to sleep in them. The problem is that the hotel is really outdated and needs a refresh.

old fashioned hotel of teh 50's needs renovation, garden+ pool +,parking and 4th floor under the roof is renovated, air conditioned there....but everything a bit old in dining room, bkfast buffet is average....it seems to cater to busloads or groups of youngsters that make noise on top of the noisiest main street;it si IKm form the pedestrian shopping area and opposite the COOP for food and drinks

"Just don't stay here"

4.0

Avoid this hotel. Bad structure, dusty rooms, terrible food (maybe the croissant wasn't that bad) and the wi-fi was hardly there. It doesn't look that bad from the outside but we travelled at a large group and no-one approved it.

"Poorly maintaned, not very pleasant"

6.0

I've stayed in this hotel for 1 night on a group tour. On the outside it looks like a romantic palazzo. Inside it is dated and worn out. You could see it probably was nice once, but has fallen on hard times. I was in a single room; it was very small, looked somewhat broken and not very clean. Air conditioning worked well though. Though it's not located on a central street, traffic gets somewhat noisy at night. Having window closed and air conditioning on helped. The location is not central, but walking distance to the city center (probably around 20 minutes on foot) and close to the sea. They have WiFi in the lobby only, not in the rooms. There is a Coop supermarket across the street. The breakfast was very small, including croissants, tea or coffee, and was supposed to include some ham and cheeze, but those ran out before I arrived and the staff had no intention to replace them. I chased the waiter, who spoke no English, but after I repeated the words "proscuito" and "fromaggio" several times, he brought me some of those on a plate. Looks like he took them from another group that was having breakfast at the same time. I was there only for 1 night, probably not sufficient to fully appreciate the place, and for the same reason I didn't care much, as long as I had a bed to sleep. But to me the hotel didn't look like a place I want to spend vacation in.

"San Remo was a starting point for trips around"

2.0

This hotel has terrible bed. One half of bed was sagging, second half was soft, but creaky. The fridge on the room didnt work. The biggest disappointment was a food. It has nothing to do with Italy. It was unflavoured and horrible quality.

"Strongly Recommend"

10.0

I don't know what these people are talking about. I've been to the Marriott, I've been to the Hilton, and I've been to many minor hotels you've probably never heard of but Hotel Eden gave me the most wonderful atmosphere. The staff was so kind, so sweet and caring proffesionally for my whole group. They would even bring us extra dessert to our table sometimes! The frontman I agree is usually busy, but that's understandable because he has to act professional and runs the hotel. Everything tasted fantastic, risotto, gnocchi with cheese and mushrooms, spaghetti, vegetables, you name it! The food was proportionally assessed and I never felt hungry or that I ate too much. The atmosphere is truly Italian, beautiful rooms opened to the pool area where we could see people smiling. The ocean is just as visible! The hotel also runs a little restaurant for the public in the city which I thought was very authentic. And for that person that said they gave the same thing for breakfast every day, you're right, but that food is truly authentic as an Italian breakfast I've learned. Honestly, I don't know why in the world there would be so many negative comments. In my opinion, I had one of the most wonderful vacations of my life and I recommend the hotel, waiters, food, views, and let me not forget gelato. Sanremo is a beautiful city. You won't regret Hotel Eden. Give it a chance!

"AVOID, AVOID, AVOID"

2.0

Definitely not a three star hotel. More like a very old fashioned, dirty house. The worst bit is that the staff are so unfriendly, so unhelpful. They are like gereatric robots in slow motion. I had an accident here 4 days ago. I tripped in the uneven cobbled locked driveway and smashed the right side of head off the cobblestones. Smashed my glasses and fractured my right wrist. My son's and I went to Reception to tell them nicely about what happened and the danger of the driveway. The chapter on reception acted hysterically, screaming at me where did you fall, show me. Bottom line is even though blood was trickling down my head and I was in pain this man didn't want to know. During the following days neither he nor any of his reception colleagues asked me how I was or even acknowledged me. I had to ask where the hospital was and no even offered to book a taxi for me. The entire place is unclean, dreary, and the noise and shuddering from the pipework around 6.30 in the mornings is quite scary. The breakfast is disgraceful, burnt croissants every morning. WiFi exists only in one small part of downstairs corridor. You move and connection is gone. This place is a joke..it's like something out of a bad movie, but sadly it's not it's reality and some of us have to pay dearly in every sence to find this out. BE WARNED, this is NOT a good place to stay. AVOID at all costs.
