I truly enjoyed this property as one of the best throughout my travels in Costa Rica. From arrival to departure, the fine tuned service was 5 star. Breakfast was included where you are served and not buffet style. We had dinner there 2 nights and the food was amazing. Marco is an outstanding manager and his leadership is evident via his employees. I was impressed by the staff recognizing the guests by name. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and those reading this, that the cottages "in the clouds" is worth the trip to Monteverde.
We arrived much too early but they were able and happy to accommodate us early and on top of that we were given an upgrade as Expedia VIP guests to their best rooms. This was the loveliest hotel that we've ever stayed in. Wonderful views to the Pacific, luxurious room and amenities, a hummingbird singing in the tree outside and to top it all off we had a private plunge pool with hot water warm enough to ease all the aches and pains of a long hike through the Agouti Reserve adjoining the hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, always smiling and interested in our day. One of our new favourites!

Beautiful place to stay. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was excellent. The hotel is right next to a nice walking trail. Service was a bit slow at times, but it was such a wonderful place overall it is hard to complain.
