Lovely warm welcome on arrival. Lovely clean comfortable room. Lovely breakfast, great evening menu and lovely food! Friendly cozy pub. Just exceptionally lovely all round! Easily accessible to Winchester town centre

Lovely food & the hotel & bar was very warm & comforting
The poor WIFI coupled with a none existent phone reception makes it a non-starter for future visits connected with business I'm afraid.

Breakfast was excellent. Beds very clean and comfortable. Very damp smell in the room and dirty hand marks on the doors. Cobwebs on the ceiling. The staff were excellent and welcoming beautiful local pub. Landlord very friendly.
Even though the beds were clean the room could have had been cleaner. Dirty hand prints on doors and cobwebs A vacuum on the edges of the room and skirtings would have been a bonus Also a damp smell very noticeable on entering the room
