The bed was comfortable. Quiet room on a Sunday night
The chef did not supply breakfast until 9.45. I asked someone who was playing darts at 9.15am if thier was any fruit? ' No, but I go to the shop to get some!' Get a grip guys!

Great food, friendly staff. The history and building were awesome. I would have loved to hear more stories about the history of the place.
The room was cold and took a long time to warm up. The tea kettle had a lot of mineral deposits that were flaking off and making it unable to be used. The WiFi wouldn't reach to the room and our cell service wasn't great. This wasn't a big deal for us, but might be a problem for others.

The room was very clean and comfortable.
We had been told that breakfast was at 9, but the pub was not open. They eventually opened at 9.30. It just seemed a little disorganised.

"This venue seemed to have no connection to on-line reviews. This was by far the worst overnight stay ever."

Evening meal very poor quality. Manager and staff seemed to not know what to do to provide acceptable hospitality. Bedroom not clean and easy chairs soiled. Bathroom freezing cold, relying on a very low power electric towel heater which did not heat the bathroom. Left at 6:00 in morning having been unable to wash, shower of shave as the bathroom was so cold - this was 27 December!
