GBThe room is very big with lots of floor space. It was quite removed from the pub so not too noisy, although I stayed midweek so not when you would expect it to be busy. The room was clean and the heater did a good job.
I try to not leave bad reviews if I can help it but I was so disappointed with my stay at the Coach and Horses. Firstly, the WiFi in the rooms is virtually non-existent - 4 mbps download speed split between two rooms - it could barely load web pages let alone video call which is what I needed. On my second night it had no internet access at all. The furniture was literally falling apart, I had to put the nightstand door back together after it fell to pieces just from being opened. The towels were all shredded for some reason? Hundreds of threads dangling from them, didn't inspire confidence. The breakfast is listed online as being 8 - 10am but when I got there I was told it's 8:30 - 10am, I managed to negotiate an 8am breakfast as I was just having yoghurt with fruit and toast (so minimal prep) and needed to leave early for a meeting. On my first morning the breakfast was 20 minutes late. On my second they hadn't toasted the bread. Overall, I was very disappointed.
GBWe booked this accommodation as a one-night stopover on a long journey and it more than met our needs. The room (in an annexe) was spacious, clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful and we had a great breakfast to set us up for the remaining journey. This is essentially a pub with rooms so facilities are limited. However, it is a great local within the village and staff and customers were all very friendly. A bonus was that the food was excellent - clearly a great chef working behind the scenes and we had a fabulous evening meal as well as a very tasty breakfast.

GBFriendly staff, lovely spacious room, very clean, peaceful. Nice to have coffee machine in the room with selection of coffee and tea.
NZThe room was a large family size so spacious as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and there was heating in the room. It appeared to be old stables that had been renovated some time ago. The evening meal in the pub was delicious and the proprietor was very helpful getting the wifi through to us in the stables.
The accommodation was rather tired. It was some 4 to 5 miles out of Winchester. Breakfast was OK but the tables needed cleaning or tablecloths covering them
GBDavid was really friendly and a great host. He made sure we had everything we needed and was funny too! The food was delicious - we had both dinner and breakfast and rated both! The rooms were clean and spacious and the bed was super comfy!
the signal isn't great there so would have been good to have a WiFi code left in the room.
GBFriendly welcome.,Personal check in and staff helpful.
GBThe venue were more than happy to accommodate us when I requested an early arrival time. The room was spacious and clean and easily had plenty of space for our family of 4. The evening meal we had in their bar area was lovely and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. They asked us what time we would like our breakfast the following morning, and happily arranged everything for us. The breakfast was delicious and just what we needed before our journey home.
