"The Victoria Hotel and its surroundings are the most beautiful spot in Africa !"

The Hotel is an amazing blend of the Colonial Era and the modern African people. The Hotel is like a museum of the Colonial past, and yet very smart and tastefully furnished.. The Zimbabwe people are wonderful : friendly, handsome and who provided an excellent service.

Being bird-lovers, we would have liked to see some photographs or copies of old paintings of Zimbabwe's beautiful birds. The animal presentations were splendid .

"The "Old Lady" delivers"

A wonderful "old lady" which has been kept in spectacular condition and is clearly one of the leading hotels in the world. Everyone was super efficient and friendly. A magic couple of days

"Very disappointed with this hotel whose decor glorifies the days of British colonialism. Needs completely updating."

This Hotel doesn't seem to have changed since the days of the British empire and seems to revel in the fact. Whilst you can't fault it's location it's rooms are dated.It advertises nightly African music but there is No entertainment currently. Tonight they closed the bar at 9.30 and it is basically dead after dinner with no option to go elsewhere nearby. Drinks are VERY overpriced for their captive audience. Not impressed with this supposedly 5 star Hotel. Very disappointed.

I cant believe that there is no included shuttle to the airport. Even after having checkmarked the tick box requiring such services when we booked.

"Memorable experience at a remarkable landmark"

Iconic and beautiful grand hotel of Victoria Falls. Loved the traditional feel, the amazing gardens and pool area, and of course the spectacular views over the gorge and the mist in the distance of the mighty waterfall. Wonderful stay and highly recommend. Food was superb with multiple dining options and the location is ideal for many adventures all around Victoria Falls area.
