Basic accommodation for a basic price

Location wasn’t great, wasn’t bad, just distant from everything somewhat

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Sipanya Guesthouse in Phonsavan. Abe and his staff are truly amazing. It’s a warm, family-run guesthouse, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely taken care of. They picked us up from the bus station and were constantly looking out for us and our kids throughout our stay. The hospitality here is next level. Everyone treated us like family. Abe organized fantastic tours for us and was an outstanding guide. His uncle, La was also incredible. We visited multiple Plain of Jars sites, the Spoon Village, the Stone Quarry, the Old Provincial Capital and even saw secret tunnels used by villagers during the Second Indochina War (the American War in Vietnam). The tours were informative, meaningful, and very well organized. We learned so much and felt completely safe the entire time. The guesthouse itself is very well run. The rooms are big and clean. Everything runs smoothly, and you can tell they genuinely care about their guests. We highly recommend staying at Sipanya Guesthouse if you’re visiting Phonsavan. It made our entire experience unforgettable.

Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen voll und ganz erfüllt. Der Besitzer Mr. Abay hat sich rührend um uns gekümmert und im ständigen Kontakt auch kleine Probleme gelöst. Besondere Erwähnung verdient Mr. Souk, der uns ein ausgezeichneter Führer und Fahrer in den Plain of Jars war.

Freundlicher Staff sehr gepflegte und saubere Unterkunft, großes Zimmer, tolle heiße Dusche, leise und effiziente A/C. Terrasse mit Nachmittagssonne. Das Bett war sehr bequem Ablagemöglichkeiten sehr ausreichend

Die Lage ist eher abgelegen. Da ich mit einem eigenen Fahrzeug angereist bin, war es für mich kein Problem. Ein Kühlschrank war nicht vorhanden
