Seafront Apartments

The location was spot on for our needs and the facilities plentiful. Coffee, Tea, milk and biscuits had been left for us which was a lovely touch.

The decor is a bit dated but that said, was clean and comfortable.

Alles beviel mij hier: het appartement is comfortabel en praktisch ingericht en vertoont veel charme, met leuk beddengoed, versieringen aan de muur, gordijnen, alle nodige keukenmateriaal, voldoende handdoeken, veel opbergruimte, ... Ik vond specifiek de comfortabele relaxzetels heerlijk. Ik had geen appartement met zeezicht, maar genoot van het rijkelijke namiddag- en avondlicht dat binnenviel. Appartement 4 was ideaal voor mij als soloreiziger. De hosts stuurden vooraf duidelijke informatie over het appartement zelf, hoe je moest binnenkomen, de omgeving, ... Je merkt aan alles dat ze zorg dragen voor hun gasten. Er is toeristische info beschikbaar, een boodschappentrolley, strandspullen, een was- en droogmachine, ... In het appartement waren ook koffie, thee en koekjes voorzien. Ook als je met het openbaar vervoer komt is het makkelijk: er is een metro om de 12 minuten vanuit Newcastle Central Station en dan 4 minuten wandelen tot het appartement. Winkels en restaurants liggen op wandelafstand.

De wifi was over het algemeen zeer goed. Alleen op zondagnamiddag was de verbinding niet goed, geen idee hoe dat kwam.

We both slept well on a large, comfortable bed. There was very little noise either from inside or outside the building. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and we particularly liked the easy operation of the shower. The kitchen was well-appointed with good facilities for cooking and storing food. The location on the promenade was excellent, both for access to the beach and nearby restaurants and cafes.

We were very happy with all aspects of the stay.
