Veranda Natural Resort

Our stay here was the highlight of our entire Asia trip. Some of the best food, especially the breakfast! The pool and facilities were so nice we didn't want to leave the resort. The view is also breathtaking. It's a short distance to the open markets, Kep beach, and other local attractions. The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful.

Had a great stay at Veranda Natural Resort in Kep. It’s tucked away up in the hills with a real jungle vibe – peaceful, green, and full of nature. Don’t be surprised if you spot geckos, monkeys, or other little visitors around the place — they’re part of the setting and add to the experience. My room was big, clean, and decorated with traditional Cambodian touches, which I really liked. The staff were super friendly — especially Mr. Munot at the front desk, who was always around to help out and even arranged some local tours for me. The restaurant staff were warm and welcoming too. Breakfast had a decent variety — nothing fancy, but tasty and enough to start the day. That said, I did think the Secret Restaurant prices were a bit high for what you get. All in all, it’s a great spot to chill and get close to nature. If you like quiet, leafy surroundings with a touch of adventure, this place is worth checking out.

A family with two small children, we had a lovely stay at this hotel, beautifully designed in wood and stone and nestled in the hillside jungle. It is quiet and comfortable, has spacious rooms with terraces, a restaurant with a spectacular sea view and two beautiful swimming pools including an infinity pool with a stunning sunset view. The staff were kind and helpful. There is plenty to do on site and nearby. Kep is a great location, which you can reach by train from Phnom Penh. We recommend outings to the nearby Rabbit Island (check out Simone's restaurant) and to the beautiful town of Kampot.

We really enjoyed the breakfast and the view from the restaurant. We also like the natural settings and the environmental friendly structure of the resort. We also enjoyed the local market nearby and the fresh crabs sold and crooked on the spot.

An idyllic setting with delightful staff. Two pools were very well maintained and in beautiful settings. Our accommodation was extremely generous with fabulous views over the gardens and the sea. Breakfast was provided to suit all tastes and was very well presented and served as a buffet. Overall a wonderful place to spend a few stays. Thoroughly recommend!

We stayed here for 3 nights. We booked 2 stone rooms which were very spacious with nice big bathrooms and good size outdoor space overlooking the pool. They had an extensive food and drink menu that was reasonably priced and the breakfast buffet was very good with lots of Asian options. They had soya milk which was a bonus for us. We liked the infinity pool best- very comfy sun loungers and a lovely view. The cocktails by the pool were a bit strong for us (first time I’ve ever complained of a cocktail being too strong 😂) It was a 10 minute walk to the crab restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the beach. It took us 2.5 hours to get there from Phnom Penh airport and we had a nice relaxing 3 days. They do the best coffee and the best fresh coconuts!

Very friendly. 2 beautiful pools and a good surrounded by nature. Very good buffet in the morning. The baked goods were delicious. And the restaurant in the evening had vegetarian options. We had a beautiful view from the hills. There is a lot to do in the region. Would recommend.

I again brought a large group of women to Veranda. There was indeed a disappointing miscommunication on bedding (this can happen anywhere when sending emails in other countries) but Manout and staff were swift to rectify with a different bed and bedding to assure comfort. Before this they even offered a room upgrade which was generous though not taken up. I also want to be clear that the staff and especially Manouts English in person was flawless. I’ve never seen a harder worker! Maybe more staff needed so he gets a break more often. The infinity pool and Seaview balconies offered again the most beautiful sunset views. Yes the trees around have grown, but it is a jungle and it is named veranda natural resort. Myself and most of my group loved the rustic charm and the monkey visitors to our balcony in the morning. Showering outdoors on the veranda with the geckos looking on was a novelty and refreshing! One of my group said she’d just stay there forever! Again the staff easily arranged tuk tuks as needed at a moments notice. The breakfast buffet was a hit with my group - especially the creme brûlée. What a treat! The beds are harder as many are in SE Asia, but if that’s a problem for you, the staff can put additional padding on the mattress as they did for me and I slept like a baby then. If rustic charm and stairs aren’t your thing, then go somewhere brand new. There are plenty of places like that with no character. But I was made to feel very at home at veranda and it holds a special place in my heart.

Fantastique séjour que nous avons choisi de prolonger malgré le fait que nous avions déjà réglé notre prochain hôtel. L'Hôtel Véranda Naturel Ressort propose un hébergement dans un cadre naturel somptueux, nous avions le cottage familial avec 2 chambres et 2 SDB, sur 2 niveaux et la visite des singes sur les terrasses en fin de journée était une vraie attraction. La corbeille de fruits dans la chambre à l'arrivée leur était-elle destinée ? C'est le choix que nous avons fait. La piscine à débordement est juste fantastique avec une vue mer à couper le souffle. Le restaurant est également un incontournable, le petit déjeuner y est juste le meilleur de notre voyage de plus de 3 semaines entre Cambodge et Singapour. Choix incroyable, cuisinier à l'écoute des demandes particulières, service parfait. Nous reviendrons avec énormément de plaisir ! Merci pour cette parenthèse enchantée.

i cannot rec this place highly enough. we love Veranda! comfortable without being fussy, excellent pools, terrific staff, great food. they are also very helpful in arranging transportation and adventures of all kinds. cant wait to go back!
