Veranda Natural Resort

Sadly I cannot rate this accomodation anywhere near 4 star, we were a group travelling and believed we were getting twin share, we in fact got rollaway fold up beds in a double room. The room smelled as though it had not been used in months and was very run down, tiles falling off the roof, balcony garden just weeds and a mess. An ancient tv and very tired worn out linen. The bed was so hard it was impossible to sleep on and the addition of some old duvets may have introduced bed bugs. The whole place is run down and looks it, steam room in the pool doesnt work, spa in other pool is half full and not working. Restaurant menu has lots of unavailable items and the bakery does not really exist. On the upside the staff (not many there) are lovely and try their best, the breakfast is good and what is available on the menu is good. Sadly the views are blocked in a lot of places due to overgrown jungle and neglect. Should be rated 2 star in which case it would be a better fit but then overpriced. Cannot recommend and would not stay here again.

Normally we are not ‘resort people’ but this might just be the nicest, coziest, friendliest place we have ever stayed. What a wonderful hotel secluded in lush green hilltop jungle settings. It’s really like living in a soft and comforting paradise. Our garden room including a private balcony was just so so nice! The restaurant is just awesome. Food and staff! And unbeatable views! Breakfast buffet is good, wifi works well….just nothing to complain about! Wow, we shall return next year! At least for two weeks!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A friend recommended this hotel in Kep and we ended up loving it. The grounds are lovely with two pools and lush jungle around the paths. My son adored the Garden pool. Our room was comfortable with lovely little touches to the decor. Slightly pricey for Cambodia but very spacious. All staff were friendly and helpful, including booking our car back to Phnom Penh. The breakfast was solid with western and local options. We would happily stay here again!

We stayed for 2 nights at this property located in the national park. The front desk team was helpful with our bags, and the restaurant staff was courteous. The property itself is forest style, with two quiet pools surrounded by nature. The rooms were good, nice clean bathroom and the presence of monkeys on trees entertained the kids. Being in the middle of nature also meant encountering some insects and lizards, but this didn’t bother us much. We also enjoyed a nice morning nature walk in the national park, which was a fun and peaceful experience. The hotel arranged scooters for hire at just $7 per day, which made exploring the area convenient. However, one downside was the limited vegetarian food options. We ended up having pizza, pasta for most meals, even at breakfast, as there was no hot vegetarian food available. Additionally, we found it odd that coffee takeout at breakfast in disposable cups to go wasn’t permitted. Kep as a destination is calm and serene, but there isn’t much to do besides visiting the beach, which has calm waters. We ended up going to Kampong for a day, but there was nothing new to explore. While it was nice to see this small Cambodian province, we felt we could have explored another location for a more enriching experience. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but the room and food prices felt high for the value, portion, location, and luxury offered.

A fabulous resort on Kep Bay, extensive grounds and two fabulous swimming pools to choose from. My room by the Garden pool was excellent and was fillied with character from the region and the location right beside the Kep National Park. The entrance to Kep Nationl park is a short walk up the hill from the resort. The food was very good, but the pooland villas are such pleasant environemnts to stay in. Happy Hour cocktails were a treat and the Asian and Western menu offered plenty of choice

I brought a group of 19 women to this gorgeous resort over Khmer New Year and it was wonderful! From the first time I contacted lovely Manout, he and other staff were so helpful with what rooms to choose for my group with the best views. It was a perfect base for us. Some ladies never left the resort, while others explored Kep and further afield in Kampot. The Veranda were always great in arranging tuk tuk drivers or tours for us. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool with view to the sunset was to DIE for. Such a magic spot and many hours were whiled away there ordering drinks and even dinner one night as we couldn’t bear to leave it. The breakfast was delicious with many options and everything we ate at the restaurant and from the bakery was perfect. The ladies that used the spa were very very happy. No wonder they wouldn’t leave! I’ve already rebooked for next year. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. The character of the place, the views, the cheeky monkeys on my balcony. What a treat! Do note however, there are many stairs so if this is a problem for you, I’d go to flat ground. Can’t wait to return.

Always a relaxing place. Wonderful pool. Breakfast was good but they were not eager to refill when items are gone. A reinvestment of this property is sorely need to maintain its quality.

Beautiful and restful retreat. Despite being some of the only guests, all facilities were open and we were treated like royalty - the two swimming pools are beautiful, spa provided full service and food was excellent. We would definitely go back again and recommend it to anyone who needs a break.
