The Granary

Jessie is an amazing host! Warm, attentive, caring and generous. And there are two adorable, well behaved dogs who are excited to host you as well. The house is beautiful, the room is spacious and comfortable. The bed is particularly comfortable. The village is idyllic, picturesque and quiet but near enough to larger places like Haye on Wye. From the house or village there are plenty of beautiful walks through green fields of sheep.

Jessica is wonderful hostess and nothing was too much trouble, super comfy bed in a large room with everything I needed. Continental breakfast was lovely and very plentiful. Hopefully this room won't stop me staying next time I'm in the area.

Jessica and her dogs are absolutely amazing. Every minute from when I stepped into her home to when I left, she was more than generous and kind, and made me feel so at home. A lovely lovely woman with some great stories! The bedroom is superb, very clean and has everything you would need and more. Bed is great, best nights sleep I’ve had in a while - and breakfast is such an added pleasure which I have to say I really will miss. I would come in from my walks and Jessica would make me a cup of tea and we would sit in the kitchen, and she would always make sure I had everything I needed and check in on me. I would recommend the Granary to anybody!! I will be back in the summer ! :)

Very modern, very good facilities

Hosts, location, room and facilities were all exceptional. We had a late departure because of snowy roads and they were kind enough to offer us lunch and a very relaxed, unhurried departure! Also had a whopping birthday cake made especially on arrival which was above and beyond as I was expecting a slice of shop-bought cake or flapjack! We did some lovely walks from the doorstop; excellent for bird watching, and also some lovely spots a short drive away.

A gorgeous building, lovingly restored, in a great location. Two gorgeous, well behaved dogs befriended me which was lovely.

Staying at The Granary for work purposes- the room was perfect. The large desk and excellent WiFi meant I was able to work in peace. The calm and beautiful surrounding were perfect for me. The host was friendly, warm and welcoming. A beautifully presented snack on arrival and breakfast early next morning was a delightful touch.

The hosts Jessica & Johnny were excellent, welcoming folks. Full of information, accommodating, & willing to help. Johnny proved to be an very accomplished "butler" & chauffeur!
