The Granary

Just off the Offa's Dyke path and in a lovely wooded area not far from Hay on Wye, our last stop during a Southern Wales holiday. We'd love to come back and walk the trail. Jessica was a lovely and lively hostess who catered to our every need and provided interesting information for our quick but throughly relaxing overnight stay.

It was spacious, clean, comfortable well equipped and met all our needs, of somewhere to return to after a long hike to relax and recharge at the end of the day. It was a in a good location and close to lots of beautiful walks and restaurants where we enjoyed delicious food, thanks to the information in the cottage regarding local restaurants.

The Shower in the master en-suite bathroom was a temperamental and perhaps should be investigated, there wasn’t any dishwasher tablets and we had to purchase to use the dishwasher. The duvet was far too hot for summer months and there wasn’t a thinner one or a blanket available, the only option was another duvet cover that was supplied.

So friendly and clean.

The Granary is a stunning building in a lovely location. We were warmly welcomed by Jessica, who is a great host! The room was spacious and well laid out with everything we needed, and we slept well. Breakfast was great, including the lovely home grown raspberries! We'd love to stay here again, and we'd certainly recommend it.

A beautiful conversion property set in the lovely welsh countryside.

Lovely room in a rural setting, exceptionally comfy enormous bed, friendly and knowledgeable host in a beautiful location...breakfast was good and plentiful.

Access road a bit of a challenge.

Excellent little find. Was working in the area and needed a place to stay for the night. The owners were really helpful and friendly. Was given a cup of tea and cake on arrival. The room was very clean and spacious with everything in I needed. Would definitely stay here again when working in the area.
