Waking up on the last morning knowing I didn't have to stay another day.

Almost everything. No English spoken. Checked in by a young boy who was transfixed on his phone. Booked a deluxe room with balcony. Dissapointment began before entering the room. Piles of rubbish at door which remained for 4 nights. Low floor at back of building looking at neighbours window. Very small and basic. Mouldy curtains. Towels and sheets were filthy as shown. When I asked for replacements I was told not until tomorrow as many people had checked out and none available. I assume that they don't clean the room as there was used cotton buds in one bedside table and worse, a condom and rubbish in the other. 4 nights and the room wasn't made up / cleaned. The shower, apart from being dirty had no hot water at any time of the day. Our deal included breakfast. We asked and were told it is served in the entrance foyer from 8am until 9am. The location is ridiculous, at the little table with the tourist brochures on it, with people coming and going. The serving time is limited and zero choice of what you're getting....we didn't eat ours as it was cold, and we didn't try it a second time. The bed was traditionally rock hard. Few power sockets. Noisy neighbours. Poor reception on old style TV. Sure I've forgotten more.. Just give it a miss...

We rented a motorbike for the day for a reasonable price. Staff were understanding and helpful once we got onto translate.

We originally booked this hotel for 3 nights but ended up checking out after the first night. Unfortunately the bathroom smelt unbearably bad. (Weve been in asia for a while and know rooms can smell but nothing compares.) After some back and fourth with the non English speaking staff they moved us to a different room but we're briskly up to kick us out of it the morning after. To there credit they did eventually refund for the remaining 2 nights as the room still smelt like a dead animal. The location is quite far out of where you want to be. The rooms also look nothing like the pictures advertised. If you have a choice book a room that isn't on the first floor or just stay elsewhere.

For the price and the good location, this hotel met that requirements.

The bedding was awful, the texture something I have never encounter before and the duvet all wobbly. The fan right next to the bed, due to no plugs was not nice with the wind directly on you. The staff only clean when instructed long after lunch hour.
