Joglo at Lata Lama

We loved everything about Lata Lama Villa, the absolute charm of the joglo, the cleanliness, the attention to detail such as fresh flowers. The room, the bathroom, the kitchen, the garden and pool are so beautiful and cared for. We spent much more time than planned in our villa because it was so wonderful. The staff are very kind, very helpful. We trusted them for scooter rental, laundry and dolphin sighting and we were not disappointed, the prices were very fair! The boat captain they work with « June » had a super ethical approach to the dolphin outing. The breakfast was astonishing, fruit, toast, jam, honey, fresh eggs, yogurt and granola, very copious. A special mention to Abu and Killi, the resident puppy and dog who I will miss!

Wow, a hidden gem! We couldn’t believe it when we walked through the doors to our villa, it was absolutely beautiful. The pool, decor, beds, kitchen, seating areas, bathroom, outdoor shower were all amazing! The staff were so friendly and helpful and arranged our dolphin trip which was at the front of the hotel on the beach.

The villas are set in rice paddy fields, a short walk from the beach. It’s beautiful! At night, it was very dark walking home from dinner and we got a bit scared of the locals dogs.

This was the most beautiful place to stay. So cute and tastefully decorated. The pool and gardens were amazing. I could happily live there long term. It looks just like the photos. My photo is of the Warung on the beach.

Only one thing for me, as I have problem walking is the distance to the beach. I only mention it in case you have mobility problems too. My younger companion had no trouble walking the small road through the rice paddy to the beach. The staff were happy to arrange drop off and pick up to the beach and local warung so I could enjoy sunset on the beach..

Water in the shower was only hot for a few minutes. We booked a 6 am dolphin tour and the guide was not ready to take us so at 6:30 after waiting we went with another guide from the beach.

I loved my stay at Lata Lama! It made my visit to Lovina even more special. They organized a fantastic tour to see Dolphins nearby.. wow, what an experience! So good to immerse yourself in local culture… Lata Lama is an authentic Balinese joglo (traditional wooden house) with beautiful furniture and stylish decoration. A welcome change from the minimalist places we have stayed in before. House and pool cleaned daily Not only this but we had a delicious feast cooked on site by Lata Lama’s brilliant staff who made us feel so welcome. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Definitely recommend

As a return visitor to Lata Lama, I particularly loved the authentic balinese experience. Villa was beautifully presented and clean. Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Thank you to ketut for her amazing Indonesian food. Best I have tasted so far! Staff organised the most wonderful sunset cruise.. Wish I could have stayed for longer. I will be back. Thank you, Lata Lama.❤️

Cute decor Lovely villa Safe Great staff .. very helpful

This is such a beautiful gem in Lovina, we came back after last years' stay and were welcomed by all of the staff. Everybody is super helpful, friendly and it was great to meet them again. The villa is gorgeous, and has everything you need to relax here. Breakfast is very nice & fresh, and plenty of options for lunch / dinner in our outside the villa. Private pool is very nice and clean, beds are very nice and comfy, AC works good. Went on a dolphin trip with Joel and saw plenty of dolphins with only a few other boats around, so pretty!
